Sorry for the missing zeroes.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Still, it will be 0.001 Rs/kJ as compared to 0.00077 Rs/kJ for Diesel. i.e., the amount you spend for 'wheat-energy' is about 1.3 times the amount you spend for 'diesel-energy'.Now, compare the results you got 0.9 Rs/km for cycling and 1 Rs/km  for a car. There isn't hardly any difference - which is caused because of the cheap petroleum 'diesel-energy'.
